Quicklime is a white, alkaline compound derived from limestone through a process called calcination. It has been used for centuries in numerous industrial applications due to its exceptional properties and versatility. Quicklime plays a critical role in industries such as steel manufacturing, pulp & paper construction, environmental remediation, water treatment, agriculture, and more.
Mr. Amit Agarwal, aged about 40 years, son of Shri. Ramawtar Agarwalla, is an Alumni of the prestigious S.P.Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai from where he completed his Family Business Management. Prior to this he completed his BBA from Christ College Bangalore.
He is actively involved in all
the business activities of the Budakia Group, for the last 16 years which includes the Cement Manufacturing, Pulp & Paper Manufacturing, Education Industry, Real Estate, Poultry Feed manufacturing, & Quicklime manufacturing.
He is the director and partner of Meghalaya Cements Limited, Topcem India, KD cements with brand name of Topcem and Suraksha. TOPCEM
is the third largest selling brand in the North East.
In Education Industry, he is associated with one the most renowned brand of school in India i.e. Delhi Public School, and has his
hand in establishing 3 schools in North-East region namely DPS Guwahati, DPS Khanapara & DPS Jorhat. The schools have more than 6000 students of North East studying.
He is also the promoter of M/S Megha Food Products
which is into the manufacturing of poultry feed products. He is also associated with a number of residential projects
and warehouses.
He is currently associated and establishing the biggest bamboo based Pulp & Paper manufacturing unit in the eastern region of India.
